Why & how

we gather…

At Tending Practitioners, we believe that the people who care for others deserve spaces where they, too, can be cared for.

Our retreats and continuing education experiences are designed for helping professionals seeking more than traditional professional development. Nestled in nature, our gatherings combine evidence-informed learning with reflection, community, and restorative practices that support both personal wellbeing and sustainable clinical practice.

We believe that meaningful growth happens through connection, to ourselves, to one another, and to the environments that sustain us. Whether exploring professional ethics, burnout, compassion fatigue, cultural humility, or practices of collective care, our experiences invite participants to slow down, reconnect with their purpose, and return to their work with renewed intention.

Our hope is simple: to create spaces where clinicians can learn, restore, and continue caring for others without losing sight of themselves along the way.
